Media Relations
Developing a media relations strategy aligned with a client’s goals and objectives is at the core of reputation management. The Perry Group looks beyond the question of whether a particular media event is newsworthy. We study how the message fits into the overall communications strategy and give thought to business objectives, legal considerations and public opinion. In some cases, The Perry Group serves as the primary spokesperson for clients. In other cases we work behind the scenes to provide strategy and support. We have successfully placed stories at the national, regional and local level, and are as comfortable speaking with The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times as we are with community newspapers and local radio and television stations.
